Research activities within LIFE-Regenerate awarded at the 4th World Congress on Agroforestry

From May 19th to 22nd 2019, Antonio Pulina (UNISS-NRD) and Antonello Franca (CNR-ISPAAM) attended the 4th World Congress on Agroforestry, which it was held at the Le Corum conference centre in Montpellier, France.

On this occasion, they presented a poster on the first results of the LIFE-Regenerate project activities titled “Adaptive Multi-Paddock Grazing for Enhancing the Ecosystem Services Provision in Mediterranean Silvopastoral Systems”. The poster showed the preliminary results on the impact of the Adaptive Multi Paddock (AMP) grazing system at the Elighes Uttiosos farm on the grassland production and quality, which suggested a positive influence of the AMP system leading to improve pasture quality and in general ecosystem services provision. With great satisfaction, the poster was awarded by the scientific committee as Best Poster within the congress’ session L3 named “Agroforestry for combating land degradation and desertification in dry areas”.
