More biochar deliveries to the replication farms

The Volterra team continues to distribute the biochar produced at the experimental farm of Muñovela to the replicators of the Life Regenerate project.

Made from prunings remains, this activated charcoal promotes a circular economy within the farm, in addition to providing numerous other benefits. The objective of this deliveries is that the replicators can check on their land the advantages that its use brings so they decide to start producing it themselves, thus giving value to the waste that was previously thrown away.

This time, 175 kg of biochar were delivered to the Aldeanueva farm, near Salamanca. The Volterra team visited also other areas of the farm where the owner is applying rotational grazing and key line hydrological design, other techniques promoted by the Life Regenerate project to revitalize the dehesas.
