

Stabilization of gullies with pruning debris on the Muñovela Farm
Among several of the uses that can be given to the pruning residues of a farm is the stabilization of eroded soils. In the case of the Muñovela farm, there are some gullies resulting from erosion due to surface runoff. In these areas, smaller pruning debris branches have been used to "fill in" the gullies. The branches extend along the bottom and side walls of the gully.read more »
Monitoring the inoculations of edible fungi in pruning remains in the Muñovela farm
Last week a team of project partners visited the Muñovela farm (Salamanca) to monitor the progress and results obtained from the actions carried out on the farm. In October 2020, 200 trunks were inoculated with Lentinula edodes (shiitake) and Trametes versicolor.read more »

Composting in Muñovela farm
Although the LIFE Regenerate project is coming to an end, the Muñovela (Salamanca) farm continues to produce compost for the following season. As in the past, wood chips, plant material and cow manure from the same farm have been mixed in the two composters.read more »
