Successful participation at the 47th Italian society for agronomy conference
PRESENTATION OF THE PROJECT AT THE 47° ITALIAN SOCIETY FOR AGRONOMY CONFERENCE
Last September 12th, 2018, in Marsala, Sicily (IT), on the occasion of the 47° Italian Society for Agronomy (SIA, https://www.siagr.it/index.php/it/) Annual Conference, Antonio Pulina (UNISS), in collaboration with the other UNISS and CNR-ISPAAM colleagues involved in the project, presented a poster on the LIFE-Regenerate project titled “The LIFE Regenerate Project: Revitalizing multifunctional Mediterranean agrosilvopastoral systems using dynamic and profitable operational practices”. The poster showed the planned activities for the trials which will be carried out at the demonstration site of the Elighes Uttiosos Farm in Sardinia, putting in evidence the adoption of innovative management option as the Adaptive Multi Paddock grazing system.
The subject of the Conference was the Agronomy in the “new agricultures” as organic, conservative, digital, and precision farming agricultural systems. The Conference was attended by over 140 researchers from Italian and international institution, but also by representatives of GDO and ICT companies.
